BaseHall, the multi-concept food hall in Jardine House, is offering a diverse selection of dishes for you to enjoy at The Grounds. From burgers to banh mi and shawarmas to laksa, there’s something for everyone. Craving snacks? There will be plenty of popcorn, ice cream and cookies. As for drinks, you will be spoilt for choice with our bar menu featuring cocktails, wine, beer, coffee, tea, juice and more. We'll even have some exclusive, limited-time menu items, so be sure to check our social media channels for the latest offerings.

Eat & Drink

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Outside food and beverage is not permitted at The Grounds. Guests are kindly asked not to bring any outside food and beverage to the venue as they will be asked to leave it outside the venue. The Grounds takes no responsibility for food and beverage items left unattended outside the venue. A Bag Check procedure will be in place at the entrance to the venue. Thank you for your understanding. Guests are kindly reminded that outside Food and Beverage is not permitted at The Grounds.

What food and drink options are available?

At The Grounds, you’ll be able to enjoy the same food offerings that you’ll find at BaseHall, the multi-concept food hall at Jardine House.

You’ll be able to order a diverse menu of dishes from BaseHall’s vendors, including FRANCIS, Bengal Brothers, Moyo Sik, Return of Lemak, benko by nüte, Honbo, Pub 1842 by Young Master and Crew. From kati rolls and Korean bites to healthy options and sweet treats, you can have it all at The Grounds. Guests are kindly reminded that outside Food and Beverage is not permitted at The Grounds.

Arrival & Entrance

When should I arrive for my session?

Please check your ticket for exact session information. Evening sessions usually open from 17:00 with scheduled entertainment usually starting around 19:00. Pods are allocated on a first come first served basis - we ask that guests arrive at The Grounds early to avoid congestion at entrances. Food & Beverage service is available once doors open, so we advise guests to arrive early, order up and settle in. Please note that each session has specific start time information that is detailed on your ticket.

Cancellations

Can I cancel my reservation?

All sales are final and non-refundable. You are able to transfer your reservation to another person should you not be able to attend. For possible inclement weather, see below “WEATHER” section.

Weather

What should I wear?

The Grounds is an outdoor venue so dress/plan accordingly.

What if there is inclement weather?

If The Grounds is unable to open due to inclement weather you will be notified in advance and your session will be refunded. Please note that it is at the absolute discretion of The Grounds what does or does not constitute inclement weather. Please do not assume your session is cancelled as you will not be refunded unless the session is officially postponed or cancelled. Please check The Grounds Facebook & Instagram accounts @TheGroundsHK before departing on your journey to the venue.

Can I bring my own sunshade or umbrella?

Yes. We advise that guests bring their own sunshade or umbrella during daytime sessions as there is no shade provided within the venue. Please note that sunshades and umbrellas must be kept at a low height so as not to block other guest’s view of the screen. You may be asked to lower to take down your sunshade if it is obstructing other guests views.

How do I find it?

Booking Restrictions

How long may I use a Pod?

Pods are reserved per event/session. If you wish to extend your reservation, you may do so based on availability. Please check the ticketing website for the most up-to-date pod availability here: https://www.zicket.co/organisers/the-grounds

How many chairs are provided?

Pods are provided with seats for 4 people. It it not possible to have more than 4 guests in one pod. Guests are politely reminded that deck chairs in Classic pods have a maximum comfortable weight loading of 110kg. Prime Pods and Lux Pods have sofa style seating that might be more comfortable.

How big is each pod?

Each Pod is 2.5M x 2.5m and can occupy a maximum of 4 guests.

Can my young child enter the event for free?

We allow children aged 3 or under to enter for free. We do request that children are kept within the pod for the entire duration of the event

Reservations

Are reservations required?

Yes - advanced ticket booking is essential. Check the calendar above or reserve your ticket here https://www.zicket.co/organisers/the-grounds

Pod locations are assigned on a first come first served basis within your ticket category. The management will, from time to time, reserve specific pods at their absolute discretion. Guests are reminded not to sit in a pod marked as RESERVED unless directed to do so by the staff, or guests will be asked to leave that pod and will have to make do with remaining available pods.

When will new or future dates become available to reserve online?

We are constantly working on fresh exciting events to take place at The Grounds, and are humbled by the overwhelming support and demand from the Hong Kong public. We will always pre-announce when new events will be released via Facebook & Instagram @thegroundshk as well as keeping our mailing list subscribers up to date when tickets go on sale. Miscellaneous

Are The Grounds pet-friendly?

Only licensed and harnessed service-animals are permitted at The Grounds.

May I bring strollers and baby chairs?

Yes, strollers and baby chairs are allowed. The Grounds will not be responsible for any missing baby chairs and strollers.

Can I bring my own blanket or towel?

Yes, we welcome guests to bring their own blanket should you want to use it within your pod to lay down on, relax and enjoy those harbourside views!
